Esther Bristol
April 29, 1916–June 1, 2009
This is a website for the few lucky people who got to know Byron and Esther Bristol—two genuine, kind, funny, beautiful, Christ-like people who loved each other and everyone else.
I have reproduced here the text from a book I made for the Bristols before their deaths. It details their fascinating history, impact, and legacy. Browse through the chapters in the right hand sidebar to learn more about this wonderful couple.
Byron's Memorial Service will be held at his beloved Harbor House, at 4 PM on April 1, 2012, the day he would have turned 99 years old.

What a beautiful tribute to a couple we'll remember always. Thank you Abigail for all the work you've done to preserve the history and knowledge of this unique couple.
ReplyDeleteI am now at the age Byron was when we first met him. I remember that day he climbed on top of our motor home to lift up the electrical wires so that we could go under them. Then on his descent of the ladder, he fell off. It scared me, but he said he was fine, and he kept going.
Many good memories of Byron & Esther, and we're so glad we had the opportunity to get to know them. Thanks again Abby for all you've done to preserve their heritage.
